New 3CX Phone System Extends User Mobility and Cost Savings
Users can work from anywhere and make savings on their phone bill with 3CX Phone System 11.
Today 3CX announced the availability of 3CX Phone System version 11, which increases user mobility by working hand in hand with 3CXPhone for Android and iPhone. It introduces a new look to 3CX MyPhone and allows users to see the presence of, and interact with, users on bridged PBX systems.
3CX MyPhone: Presence & Unified Communications Wherever You Go
Users can now take 3CX MyPhone with them wherever they go as they can sign in to their PBX when in or out of the office from any computer. This allows users to see the presence and status of others, join queues, and take advantage of Unified Communications, such as instant messaging, from anywhere with an internet connection.
Remote Extension from Anywhere with Android and iPhone
3CX Phone System 11 works hand in hand with 3CXPhone for Android and 3CXPhone for iPhone – free softphones and full desktop phone replacements, which allow users to make phone calls via WiFi and 3G. By connecting these apps with 3CX Phone System 11, users can take their extension with them anywhere. Integration between 3CX Phone System 11 and 3CXPhone for Android has been vastly improved, as has auto-provisioning, making it a great solution for sales people who are on the go.
Users can now see the presence of colleagues on bridged PBX systems with 3CX MyPhone. Each PBX appears as a tab in a single instance of 3CX MyPhone and users can switch between them to easily chat and interact with their coworkers on the secondary PBX.
Schedule and Manage Conference Calls with a Few Mouse Clicks
3CX MyPhone makes conferencing easier than ever as it only takes a few mouse clicks to create a conference call and add new participants, whether they use an internal extension or an external number. Users can schedule conference calls and email invitations with a .ics file so that the conference call can quickly be added to a participants calendar. Invitees on the same PBX will automatically be called on their extension at the scheduled time and connected to the conference, making the setup and management of a conference easy. Additionally, the host can monitor the complete progress of the conference, seeing when participants enter or leave.
Never Miss an Important Call with New Customer Service Features
3CX Phone System 11 Call Center Module now alerts the user when a call has been in a queue for too long, allowing a free agent to prioritize and quickly deal with it. Should a call be abandoned, 3CX MyPhone will keep a record of it so that agents can call the person back and then remove those calls from the list, therefore improving customer service levels and staff efficiency.
Users of the 3CX Call Center 11 can also take advantage of priority queues – any call to a priority queue gets fast-tracked to the top of the pile. You can also configure a maximum number of callers in a queue and even assign a queue extension to a mobile phone for roaming agents.
Queue statistics can be reset daily or weekly, to improve analysis of agents’ performance. Additionally, a caller now has the option to opt out of being recorded.
New Web Reports Application Makes Reporting Easy
A new web application with 3CX Phone System 11 allows users to easily create various reports. Reports have been improved for accuracy, and there are two new reports that you can generate – by call type (for example: national, international, mobile, etc.) and secondly, a report for outbound calls per group. These two reports are available in the Pro and Enterprise versions of 3CX Phone System.
